Introducing ISO Tolerances

    

ISO Tolerances is a another engineering tool from Mobileng. All tolerances and deviations that normally you need to consult at charts and engineering books now you have them all in your webOS device.

A graphical representation of the allowed deviation helps you to understand the type of fit selected and how it affects between hole and shaft assembly. Clearances and absolute limit values are also calculated and displayed.

ISO Tolerances helps you to choose a correct fit, telling you the type of assembly for the recommended fits by the standards. All the tolerances and deviations are according to ISO 286.

 

Gears Designer 1.1.2 now available

We have released an update for Gears Designer. This includes new features such as generating reports to be sent by email.
The Life Factor calculation has been implemented and now the number of cycles affects the safety factor.
Other small bugs have been fixed.

Gears Designer allows you to make quick calculations of spur and helical gears.

This application will show you all the geometric characteristics of a gear set.

It also lets you know the resulting forces on the gear for a given power.

You can get a quick estimate of whether the gear is suitable for the job.
